About the Artist

Randy Arndt started making jewelry in 2012 as a hobby. It began with beads and wire wrapping, then quickly evolved into working with gemstones, rock, minerals and silver. Having worked many years as a toolmaker, it seemed a smooth transition to learn the silversmith trade, and it all fit right in to his love of searching the Lake Michigan shorelines and rock piles for interesting stones. Along with his wife De, they work together to hunt for stones and other findings worthy of creating that next great pendant or ring. They are both members of the Grand Traverse Area Rock and Mineral Club. They also both enjoy outdoor activities year-round where they live in Benzonia, Michigan.
